Proud to be a Beekman 1802 Artisan

Way back when the weather was warmer, the fabulous Beekman Boys invited me to a picnic at their house… along with a bunch of really great people. I’m in the middle with my pig portrait! We’re the artisans who create handmade products for Beekman 1802. I got to meet jam makers, cheese makers, sewers, potters, farmers and more. I even got to sample the ice cream maker’s champagne ice cream, not to mention the Beekman’s very own whoopie pie (recipe can be found in their cookbook). Farmer John was last to show up for the picture. His tardiness was excused because he was caring for the goats in the barn we were standing in front of.

I love Beeman 1802’s products, and I love that Josh Kilmer Purcell and Brent Ridge stand for supporting their neighbors, local agriculture, and quality products.
