Wavy Glass

Our house was built in the 1830s. If you like old houses (and I do), you come to appreciate the character that has developed over time. Yesterday the sun was setting, shining light on the collection of framed photos behind our living room couch. The center picture is a copy of a lantern slide taken of our house in August of 1893. If you look closely, you might be able to see the back lower window on the side of the house. That old window is still there, and the glass, now wavy, creates lovely patterns out of the sunlight on the wall.
